GET INFORMED in #UKCharityWeek: 3-7 December
To celebrate #UKCharityWeek this December, we're taking GET INFORMED - Social Investment for Boards on the road. Working with local partners around the country, we'll be visiting Bristol, Leicester, Liverpool, Sheffield and Ipswich.
From 3 to 7 December, we'll be highlighting the incredible impact that charities and trustees have in the UK every single day of the year. For charities, the week will also be an opportunity to learn about the free support and resources available for board members on the opportunities and risks of social investment.
GET INFORMED in #UKCharityWeek are a series of free events aimed at charities who are interested in learning more about social investment and how it could help them be more sustainable and/or scale up to increase their impact. They will provide an opportunity to hear from peers about their experience of social investment as well as the support provided by GET INFORMED - Social Investment for Boards.
This event is the perfect opportunity for charity trustees and CEOs to:
- Get your organisation into the national conversation about social impact and #makingadifference
- Get informed about social investment options from other trustees who’ve already been supported to improve their future sustainability
- Get a mentor to help your board and management team explore the potential for your charity to secure social finance
- Get lunch and meet other charities you could learn from and work with
