- First session: Simon Rowell, Current Strategy and Market Development Director at Big Society Capital, will provide an overview of the UK social investment market, highlighting the different organisations and different roles available.
- Second session: Candice Motran, Current Investment Director at Big Society Capital, will lead an interactive case study based on a real social investment deal undertaken by BSC, exploring the key questions arising in a social investment deal.
- Third session: Sarah Davies, Current Talent Specialist at Big Society Capital, will lead a panel Q&A session, with current social investment professionals from Big Society Capital, a social investment fund manager and a social investment advisor, on the day-to-day professional life in social investment, how to achieve this type of role and the required skills.
- Fourth session: Madeleine Evans, Co-Founder of Finance Matters, will share her thoughts and advice on how to get started on your journey to work in social investment.
We will also be welcoming a speaker from a social investment fund manager and a social investment advisory organisation, as well as a number of representatives from social investment fund managers and advisers who will be recruiting this year.
These sessions will be followed by an informal drinks session in Big Society Capital’s offices where you will have the chance to discuss with all the speakers and other representatives from social investment organisations that will be looking to recruit this year.
