Can people-powered social investment provide something unique to charities, social enterprises and individual investors?
Facilitated by Cliff Prior, the new CEO of Big Society Capital.
Social investment is, at its heart, about people. We want to see millions of people contributing to social change through their saving and investing choices - providing capital to causes they care about.
In this session, we’d like you to help shape the future of people-powered social investment.
We will be exploring whether a more democratised social investment landscape can provide something unique to charities, social enterprises, and individuals themselves.
We will debate innovative models and approaches from the UK and around the world that are enabling ordinary people to get involved in social saving and investment. What lessons can we learn from their successes and failures? How could we catalyze new approaches?
As a group, we will co-create new models that could enable people to do this in the future, bringing people-powered social investment into the mainstream.
Cliff Prior, the new CEO of Big Society Capital, will facilitate the session, including a thought-provoking discussion with experts and practitioners from the UK and abroad.
Come and join the debate and help shape the future of people-powered social investment!
