Big Society Capital has today launched an independent stakeholder survey to gather views on its progress to-date, as well as ideas for its future priorities.
The survey is open to everyone, and Big Society Capital hopes it will receive feedback from a wide range of individuals and organisations from across the charity, social enterprise, intermediaries and investment sectors.
Cliff Prior, Chief Executive of Big Society Capital said:
“Big Society Capital was set up five years ago using the public's money that was lying unused in dormant accounts with the ambition of making it easier for charities and social enterprises to raise investment so that they could do more of their fantastic work.
Since that time a huge amount of work has been done. But there is always more we could be doing and different ways of doing this. Having just joined as Chief Executive, I want to take this opportunity to take stock and hear from all of our partners and stakeholders to get a sense of how you feel the organisation is doing – and how it could do better.”
The survey can be found at http://bit.ly/BigSocietyCap_Survey. It is being conducted on Big Society Capital’s behalf by Matter & Co. All responses are confidential and must be submitted by midnight Wednesday 20 April.
Big Society Capital has also committed to publishing key headlines from the survey.
