Stuart Foster is a Managing Director within the Large Corporate & Sectors business, part of the Commercial and Private Banking division of NatWest bank. He currently has responsibility for a number of sectors, including Financial Institutions and Professional Services, accountable for sector strategy and risk appetite across the commercial bank.
Stuart joined the bank in 2000, and has worked in a variety of roles across NatWest, including an initial 8 years in several Structured Finance roles in RBS Global Banking and Markets. More recently, Stuart ran the Services and TMT Coverage team in the Large Corporate business. Prior to joining the bank, Stuart worked at the British Academy, where for 5 years he undertook a research and lecturing role based at St. Andrews University, where he also completed a doctorate in Modern History.
